- A customer who has ordered a product or requested a service that we provide.; or

3. Information We Collect and Process.
Personal information
To maintain a streamlined marketplace, we do not host a central talent database and we do not store your CV. When you actively apply for a specific vacancy listed on our platform, we collect only the necessary information required by the hiring employer to initiate contact. We do not verify, screen, or alter the contact details you submit. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the contact information you provide is accurate, up-to-date, and free from errors so that employers can reach you successfully.
Personal Information Provided Voluntarily by Candidates (During Application) includes:
- First name and Last name;
- Telephone number;
- Email address;
- Our platform serves as a direct routing pipeline, we do not collect, host, or retain your CV or application files on our servers once they have been successfully transmitted to the employer.
To facilitate vacancy listings, we collect organizational details including company name, registration number, billing information, contact person details, and job descriptions.
Information Provided by Corporate Clients / Employers:
- Company name;
- Company registration number;
- Billing information,; and
- Job descriptions.
but excludes:
- information that
has been made anonymous so that it does not identify a specific person;
- permanently
de-identified information that does not relate or cannot be traced back to
you specifically;
- non-personal
statistical information collected and compiled by us; and
- information that
you have provided voluntarily in an open, public environment or forum
including any blog, chat room, community, classifieds, or discussion board
(because the information has been disclosed in a public forum, it is no
longer confidential and does not constitute personal information subject

4. How the Marketplace Works (Data Flow).
Our advanced platform bypasses traditional, transactional recruitment. Because we do not store CVs or manage a talent pool database, your data flows as follows:
Application & Direct Consent:
- By clicking "Apply" and submitting your details for a role, you grant explicit consent for your details to be shared immediately with that specific hiring employer.
Direct Delivery:
- Your application passes through our secure routing platform straight to the hiring employer for review.
Direct Contact & Management:
- If the employer believes you are a good fit for their vacancy, they will reach out to you directly to schedule an interview. From that point onward, the selection and interview process is managed exclusively between you and the employer.

Utilising your information for statistical purposes.
Important Notice: If you do not agree with the data flows or terms outlined in this policy, you must immediately cease accessing the website and refrain from using our marketplace services.
5. Purpose of Processing.
We utilize personal information strictly for the purposes of driving our marketplace ecosystem:
- For Candidates: To securely route your job application and contact details to your chosen hiring employer.;
- For Employers: To host your job listings, manage platform access, and deliver a curated stream of applicants.;
- For Security & Marketing: To prevent platform abuse, fulfill legal obligations, and send administrative updates or lawful marketing communications (which you can opt out of at any time).
We will use this personal
information to fulfil your account or application, provide additional services
and information to you as we reasonably think appropriate, and for any other
purposes set out in this policy.
6. Disclosure & Third-Party Sharing.
We will never sell personal information. Your data is only shared under the following conditions:
- With Hiring Employers: As described above, your application details are disclosed directly to the specific employer whose job listing you applied for.
- With Cloud Service Providers: We utilize secure infrastructure and cloud hosting partners to run our platform under strict data processing agreements.
- Cross-Border Transfers: If our secure cloud infrastructure is hosted outside of South Africa, we ensure our international technical partners are legally bound to security standards that are substantially similar to, or stricter than, POPIA.
- As Required by Law: We will disclose information if legally compelled to do so by a court order, subpoena, or relevant law enforcement authority.
This will enable the company or
third party to make contact with you in order to provide you with further
information related to the job you inquired about via the Website or the Apps.
Communicating with us
When you communicate with us through our customer service
channel, you may be requested to provide personal information to us such as
your name, email address and contact details. We will use this in order to help
resolve with your query or complaint.
Third-Party Employer Responsibility
Once your application details and CV are successfully transmitted to the hiring employer, that employer becomes the independent "Responsible Party" for your personal information. We do not control, monitor, or host the internal recruitment databases or privacy practices of these external companies. We are not liable for how third-party employers store, process, or secure your data once they have received it. If you wish to withdraw your application or request the deletion of your data after applying, you must contact the hiring employer directly.
7. Security and Data Retention
Our platform
We take data security exceptionally body-conscious. Our platform is hosted in a secure server environment utilizing advanced firewalls and encryption protocols to prevent unauthorized access..
- Candidate Applications: Because we pass your application directly to the employer, we do not retain your CV or application files on our active servers post-transmission.
- Employer Data: We retain corporate client billing and account history only for as long as legally mandated for tax, auditing, and corporate compliance purposes.
8. Your Rights as a Data Subject.
Under POPIA, you have the right to manage your information. You may contact our Information Officer at dataprotection@hrpartner.co.za at any time to:
- Request confirmation of what information passed through our platform.
- Object to the processing of your data for direct marketing.
- Request the correction or complete deletion of any historic corporate account data.
- If you believe we have mismanaged your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator at complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.
