About the Opportunity

A leading Freight Solutions and Logistics company with a strong national footprint and over 20,000 destinations serviced is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive for the Gauteng region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in a well-established and growing company within the logistics sector.

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through targeted sales strategies and exceptional client relationship management. This position requires a strong understanding of the logistics and freight industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and contribute to revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics, freight, courier, and transport sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of company products, services, and operational processes.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Matric certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ industry-related sales experience within courier, freight, transport, logistics, or road freight sectors.
    • Proven track record in business development and external sales.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Gauteng region, particularly Pretoria, with established local networks.
    • Target-driven and results-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
    • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
