The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through targeted sales strategies and exceptional client relationship management. This position requires a strong understanding of the logistics and freight industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics, freight, courier, and transport sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of company products, services, and operational processes.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications |
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ industry-related sales experience within courier, freight, transport, logistics, or road freight sectors.
- Proven track record in business development and external sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the Gauteng region, particularly Pretoria, with established local networks.
- Target-driven and results-oriented with a history of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a client-centric approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
