SEO Specialist (JHB)
This role is responsible for delivering Search Engine Optimisation technical audits, competitor analysis, keyword research, guiding content strategies and developing link building strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to code in HTML, CSS and PHP
Agency, Media Owner or Client-Side experience essential
Knowledge / Skills:
Excellent experience and understanding of SEO and social, including current developments
Web developer background desirable (MySQL, JavaScript, system admin, SVN/repository knowledge)
Understanding of client-side analytics packages highly desirable (Omniture, Coremetrics, GA)
Good knowledge of overall online marketing mix including PPC and Display
Good knowledge of overall online marketing mix
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Additional Requirements:
Able to do competitor analysis
An understanding of the broader digital media landscape
Problem-solving skills
Ability to code in HTML, CSS and PHP
Understanding of client-side analytics packages
Excellent client service skills
Good knowledge of overall online marketing mix
Agency, Media Owner or Client-Side experience essential
