We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems, relevant legislation, and the ability to manage payroll processes efficiently. This role is critical in ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes using Sage People 300. This includes maintaining payroll records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations, and addressing payroll-related queries.
- Process and manage payroll for employees using Sage People 300.
- Extract, analyze, and prepare reports, including BIM, Smart, and Standard Sage reports.
- Ensure compliance with SARS, BCEA, and LRA regulations.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
- Address employee queries related to payroll and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct payroll reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Assist in audits and ensure payroll processes adhere to internal controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications |
- Grade 12 and relevant Payroll qualification.
- Sage People 300 certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Payroll Sage People 300.
- Advanced Excel training and proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of payroll-related legislation (SARS, BCEA, LRA).
- Financial acumen with a clear understanding of payroll budgets and costs.
- ITC and criminal record clear.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
- Proficient in generating and analyzing payroll reports.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
